The World Class Manager series is designed to bring together all the best practice for people managers in a way that delivers proven impacts for you and your organisation. By building industry leading management teams and applying the 12 key habits of world class management, GGI have created real-life, actionable practical tools and tips from some of the best global management practices.The WCM curriculum is the complete manager’s journey. It is results focused and a great foundation for new and aspiring managers, and an excellent refresher and skills enhancer for existing managers. The 24-module curriculum is structured into two series (each made up of 12 modules) and is focused on the critical skills managers need to get the best out of themselves and their people.
WCM Series 1
In Series 1, managers will learn core foundational skills to enhance their impact as leaders:
- how world class managers think and behave
- how to set goals to align with strategy and vision
- how to run effective meetings and give impactful team briefings
- customer and stakeholder engagement skills.
WCM Series 2
Series 2 aims to create a greater understanding of how managers can better align their own and their team's activity to the organisational strategy and goals. This includes:
- understanding emotional intelligence of themselves and others
- developing coaching skills
- learning how to have difficult conversations and manage conflict
- making the transition from manager to leader by focusing on strategic thinking.
Together, both series will give managers a grounding that will set them up for success in their entire managerial career. The programme will help to create great people managers who will become great contributors to their organisation's mission and success.
Module structure
Every module contains four key elements:
- Bitesize videos - short (average 12 minutes) purpose shot modular video featuring actionable best practices.
- Module workbooks - fully downloadable workbooks to expand on core video content, learnings and opportunities for improvement.
- Reflection questions - to help consolidate learning (contained within workbooks).
- Assessment - module assessment questions enabling learning and CPD certification.
